Does Your Godhead Have Three Gods in It?

The religious system viewing Matthew 28:19 believes that the three offices of God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) are three separate persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Thus, the trinity doctrine is practiced throughout the ages.

However, the Holy Scriptures proclaim that there is only one God.

The Word of God says, “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV).

“Thus sayeth the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and; beside me there is no God. Fear ye not, neither be afraid; have not I told thee from that time; and have declared it? Ye are yet my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know; not any” (Isaiah 44:6 and 8 KJV).

Jesus declares, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. … And when I saw him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last” (Revelation 1:8 and 17 KJV).

“And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne” (Revelation 4:2 KJV).

The Word of God confirms that Jesus is Almighty God.

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. … and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us” (St. John 1:1, 2 and 14 KJV).

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1Timothy 3:16 KJV). Who is the Word of God talking about? Jesus is the One.

Concerning Jesus, the Holy Scriptures say, “For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:9, 10 KJV). “These scriptures reveal two important factors: (1) The fulness of the Godhead is centered in the person of Jesus Christ, and (2) He is the Supreme Ruling Power. Jesus is God Almighty ...” (Bishop M. Morimanno, The Truth Shall Make You Free, pg. 12, par. 1).

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me” (Isaiah 46:9 KJV).

Before the foundation of the world, Jesus is God.
